THE DISADVANTAGES OF FULLMORE

Like other inexpensive substitutes to actual hair growth preparations, Fullmore, marketed by Spencer Forrest, Inc., is a colored hair thickening preparation that recreates the appearance of new hair where there is none. According to commercial reviews, Fullmore Hair Thickener gives any user natural looking hair in seconds.

Fullmore’s basic claims include:

1) Being able to provide natural-looking hair when used in thinning spots, completely bald areas and bald patches.

2) Texture and volume is also the aim upon application. Texture is the appearance of curliness, waviness or straightness. Volume on the other hand, is the appearance of basic depth and thickness when viewed close-up or from afar.

3) As a cosmetic remedy, Fullmore may be used in times where better-looking hair is required by the situation (such as an important meeting, a job interview, etc.)

The special blend of polymers and special colorants is being sold by the Spencer Forrest website at $21.95 per bottle. The lowest price found online is $19.40 at Amazon.

THE DISADVANTAGES OF FULLMORE

The main disadvantage of Fullmore Hair Thickener is that it would not work for completely bald people. Here’s the explanation behind this caution: hair thickeners require some surrounding hair in order to work. The volume and texture, or at least the illusion of volume and texture is achieved by capitalizing on surrounding hair. When viewed from afar, the hair would look complete, without patches where there’s no hair. The eyes of the viewer would adjust automatically to assume that there is no bald spot. Of course, the thinning areas are still bald.

Another disadvantage of hair thickeners in general is that they come off certain surfaces. This includes pillowcases, beds and bed sheets. If you’re expecting company tonight, or you’re sleeping in a lover’s bed, expect some funny questions in the morning. Like, what are these black flakes on the pillow sheet?

This is especially true if you already have very thin hair (less than 300 strands per square inch) - as the colorants would have very little to anchor to. The result is that they would anchor to the scalp’s surface - not a very adhesive place to spray colorants.
